Learn more about the process

In the past, cleaning carbon deposits from an engine was akin to conducting open heart surgery. This conventional method required opening the engine, applying chemicals to loosen the carbon, then scraping and removing it. Such a task was not only burdensome, typically taking 6-8 hours for a V8 engine, but also costly and inefficient. Additionally, mechanics often focused on removing carbon only from certain areas like the manifold, intake valves, and cylinder heads, while neglecting other critical parts where carbon accumulates, such as the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system, turbo, and exhaust systems, which are essential for a comprehensive engine restoration.

In contrast to using Carbon Cleaning Hydrogen technology Carbon K machines. These devices represent a different approach to removing carbon deposits, offering an effective solution for clearing carbon build-up from the entire engine system. Similar to the French technology, our method is efficient and suitable for various engine types, including petrol, diesel, and hybrid. However, it's the use of Carbon K machines that sets our process apart, ensuring quick, safe, and comprehensive cleaning of carbon deposits, restoring engine performance promptly.

      2How long does it take?
Usually our engine carbon cleaning service takes a total of 45-60 minutes.
3Will it fix my fault? Will carbon cleaning fix my EGR problem?
Carbon cleaning is not as such a fix, it’s original purpose is cleaning as a preventative measure as carbon build-up is the root cause of 85% of failure of components. If the component is simply clogged it is often possible to restore operation of some components such as an EGR valve. However, if the component has failed then of course cleaning cannot fix. If you have an engine management system fault or a component diagnosis we recommend speaking to your local technician to discuss success ratios and options.
4How regular should a vehicle be carbon cleaned?
We recommend preventative cleaning once a year or every 10-12,000 miles – just like a regular oil change but for the air and fuel side of your engine.
5Can your carbon cleaning process damage an engine? Are there any risks?
Certainly not. We use CE marked specialist machines, operating in over 50 countries with 100’s of machines being used daily – never has there been an engine damaged from our engine carbon cleaning process.
